Canada’s Khan Resources to get $70 Million from Mongolia as Compensation to Revive Mining of Uranium


In an effort to improve relationships and its reputation, the government of Mongolia is prepared to pay $70 million to Khan Resources of Canada to revive a mining licence for uranium. The Mongolian government is wanting to put an end to 7 years of negotiations and legal clashes that drove away investors from Mongolia, a top mining destination earlier.
